Screenplay
Step one
The screenplay is based on a short story by Holger Wiek from 2004, written in 2017 during a stay in Ireland at the selected locations.
Casting
Step two
The casting for the film took place in April 2018. Not only the leading roles were cast, but also the crew was reassembled.
Rehearsals and shooting the movie
Step three
The shooting will take place in Ireland in July 2019. In 2018 the preparations will start including the rehearsals for the film.
Postproduction
Step four
After shooting, the postproduction will start in 2019. Cutting the material shot in 4K and the extensive 5.1 surround sound mixing will take several months.
Composing the soundtrack started in 2018.
FILM PREMIERE

The premiere of Glanearagh will take place on 28 March 2020 at Cinemaxx Krefeld.
